VBR queue
A queue that exclusively processes traffic of service category VBR
VRRP (Virtual Router Redundancy Protocol)
A hot-standby function that secures communication routes via routers on the same
LAN even if a failure occurs in a router. Using this function makes it possible to
define virtual routers consisting of multiple routers on the same LAN. If the end host
defines a virtual router as the default, it is not necessary to be aware of switchovers
between routers if a failure occurs in a router.
Virtual links
A virtual line. An area with actual routes of virtual links is referred to as the virtual
link’s transit area.
